Face Rock is the petrified face of Princess Ewauna, who refused to look at the sea‑god Seatco as he tried to capture her. In anger, Seatco turned Princess Ewauna to stone, her face still tilted toward the moon in defiance. Nearby sea stacks—Cat and Kittens —are said to be her pets, also frozen in time.
